• Station Report Oct. 2014

    Dear Residents, As you may be aware it has been suggested recently that the power station may have been emitting more noise than usual whilst operating. Having carried out a comprehensive investigation into the matter, the station identified that the chimney stack baffles could be the solution. Accordingly, on 25th September, engineering works were carried out on the baffles and this has had a positive effect on noise emissions. In addition, the company has instigated a thorough review of its noise management systems, in order to ensure the risk of future issues is minimised.

    Our aim at all times is to act as a responsible operator. Intrinsic to this is a willingness to investigate all legitimate concerns that are brought to our attention, and, where required, to take appropriate action. We appreciate your cooperation in this regard and look forward to your continued support in the future. If you have any further concerns or would like to discuss the recent issue please feel free to contact the company using the following details;
